Women experience a range of issues throughout their life.
Depression, stress and anxiety are some of the most common issues we currently work with. We provide a trauma-informed counselling service to our clients.
Domestic abuse can happen to anyone. Our clients come from all walks of life.
The specialist counselling we provide is primarily “person-centred” and non-directive. We passionately believe in putting our clients at the heart of their counselling, as they are the experts on their own life.
Sexual assault can have a huge impact on your emotional well-being. You may have never spoken about what happened to you with anyone before, maybe you thought no one would believe you. Perhaps you have put it to the back of your mind and tried to "get on with it". We can help you to tell your story.
Counselling is confidential and takes place in a women-only centre or via telephone.
We work at our client’s pace and help them to reach a deeper understanding of their personal situation and become emotionally resilient.
Our counsellors come from diverse backgrounds and are British Association for Counselling and psychotherapy (BACP) accredited counsellors or working towards accreditation. They adhere to the Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. They have extensive experience of working in the VAWG sector.
